Berlin has 170 museums, 300 art galleries, castles, churches, countless parks, opera houses, theaters, cinemas, clubs, bars and cafés. The diverse city has a very unique charm, which makes it such a popular destination. Enjoy this dynamic and creative city, which is rich in contrasts and offers visitors unique insights into German culture.
The team at Carl Duisberg Training Center Berlin organizes a diverse range of activities for course participants each week, in which students explore Berlin, make friends and practice German outside the classroom.
Learn about Berlin's history or explore one of the city’s many museums on one of our personal guided city tours. Berlin is not only rich in history, art and culture, it has a lively café and bar scene, which students explore with us while getting to know the different districts of the city.
Our activity program also offers our more athletic participants lots of options, including salsa dancing, climbing, badminton and bowling with our friendly student services aides. On weekends we organize trips to Potsdam and other places of interest around Berlin. Upon request, we can also organize trips to Hamburg, Dresden or Weimar.
