Foundation Course

In a ten-month basic course in Cologne, you acquire the knowledge you need for your future field of study. The curriculum corresponds to the subjects taught at the "Studienkolleg" and ends with an external assessment exam. After you have passed the exam, you are entitled to enroll at a college or university in Germany.

Participation Requirements

  • School leaving certificate permitting registration at a German Studienkolleg
  • German language proficiency at level B2 (CEFR)
  • Attendance of at least three months of a German Intensive Course at Carl Duisberg Training Center in Berlin, Cologne, Munich and Radolfzell.
